Privacy

Loc has no ads, analytics, or backend servers. Your data stays on your device.

Location and permissions

Loc requests precise and background location access so active reminders can continue working when the screen is off. It also requests notification access to alert you when you reach your destination. Your location is compared with your destinations directly on your device, and Loc does not send your movement history to a Loc server. Android lets you review or revoke these permissions at any time.

Map service

When you use the map, its tiles are loaded from OpenStreetMap. OpenStreetMap receives standard network information, such as your IP address, as described in its privacy policy. The map service is optional. You can enter destination coordinates manually and use Loc offline if you do not want to share network information with OpenStreetMap.
