Location

Loc uses precise foreground and background location while reminders are active. Location readings are compared with your destinations on the device. Loc does not send your movement history to a Loc server.

Map and search services

The map loads tiles from OpenStreetMap. Place searches and reverse geocoding are sent to Nominatim, including the search text or selected coordinates needed to answer the request. Those services receive standard network information such as your IP address and are governed by the OpenStreetMap Foundation's policies.

Data stored on your device

Reminder names, notes, coordinates, saved places, arrival settings, and preferences are stored locally. Delete individual items in Loc, or clear the application's storage in Android settings, to remove them.

Permissions

Loc requests location, background location, and notification access so active reminders can work with the screen off and alert you on arrival. Android lets you review or revoke these permissions at any time.
